In addition to writing, Mandy enjoys spending time birding (photographing birds) and spending time with her family. 

Mandy is a retired trainer assessor, flautist, multi award winning floral designer and artist and wildlife rescue volunteer for birds and small mammals with 1000 cubic metres of habitat enclosures. 

She now spends time tending her birds, dogs and cats, reading, swimming, spending quality tie with family, birding, researching and learning, joining and contributing to groups, her love of life and nature enriches her experience and humour keeps her going.
