Mandy is a full-time author, researcher, genealogist living in Queensland Australia.  A retired trainer assessor, artist, photographer, flautist, multi award winning floral designer, and wildlife rescue volunteer for birds and small mammals with 1000 cubic metres of habitat enclosures on the property she shares with husband of over 42 years and her small army of birds, 2 dogs and 2 cats. 

Her passions include writing engaging stories, music, reading, art, wildlife conservation, swimming, spending quality time with family, birding [bird photography and citizen scientist work], researching and learning, joining and contributing to special interest groups.

Her love of life and nature enriches her experience and humour keeps her going. An advocate for Lyme disease survivors and systemic change.
